Bluey It is with real sadness that we wish to advise
to our friends and followers of our breeding operation of the tragic loss of Bluey - our lovely big Percheron x mare and her foal. On Sunday 26/11/06 she went into labour and with the filly upside down and head back, the drama began. 3 vets and 7 hours later, the dead filly was birthed and then she went down. She died with her head on my lap. We buried them together in a special place here on the farm.
The foal was a roan filly - not especially big, just in the wrong position. Unfortuantely these things happen in the breeding world.
